Brazil: the lusophone network, on the other side of the Atlantic.

Our Brazilian desk extends the same network into South America’s largest economy — for European and African groups approaching Brazil, and for Brazilian companies going the other way, into Angola, Mozambique and the Iberian market, in the same language and under the same contract.

Local context

What the Brazilian corridor is actually used for

Brazil appears in our clients’ plans in two distinct ways, and they need different work. European and African groups approach it as a market: they need the entry model decided, a presence built and someone commercially credible in the room. Brazilian companies approach Angola, Mozambique and Portugal as an expansion: they need establishment, workforce and, frequently, freight.

What makes the corridor work is that both directions are handled in Portuguese by the same organisation, with offices at both ends. A Brazilian group establishing in Luanda deals with our Luanda office; a European group entering Brazil deals with the Brazilian desk; the contract and the point of contact are the same.

Procurement in both directions

Brazil is also a sourcing market and a destination. Brazilian buyers use our Beijing and Noida desks; Brazilian producers reaching African markets use the same qualification and freight discipline in reverse.

Requirements, contribution rates and processing sequences change. Our office confirms the current position for your case before you commit.

Common questions

Operating in Brazil

Do you register companies in Brazil?

We handle structuring and the corporate administration of a Brazilian presence, and we coordinate the local formalities with the professionals who must execute them. For a Brazilian incorporation we tell you exactly which parts we run and which are executed locally, before you engage.

Can you help a Brazilian company enter Angola or Mozambique?

That is one of the corridor’s main uses. Establishment, workforce, visas and freight into Angola and Mozambique, run by our own offices there, in Portuguese, under one contract.

Can you source from Asia for a Brazilian buyer?

Yes. Our Beijing and Noida desks run the sourcing and the three inspection gates, and freight is arranged onto the Brazilian lane on the same file.

Begin with what has to be true in Brazil.

A team working, an entity trading, goods cleared, or all three. Set out the objective and we return the sequence, the institutions involved and the division of responsibility.
