Why India, and why not for everything
India is the alternative to a single-origin supply chain. For engineering castings and machining, textiles, pharmaceutical and chemical inputs, agro-processing and a growing range of components, it is competitive on its own terms rather than as a fallback; for buyers already sourcing from China, it is the second base that removes concentration and tariff risk.
The base is deep but less consolidated than China’s, which shifts the work: supplier discovery takes longer and qualification does more of the job. That is precisely why an office at origin matters more here, not less.
Employment without an entity
On the people side, India is a jurisdiction where a foreign company can employ through an Employer of Record without forming a private limited company, taking on a resident director or filing with the Registrar of Companies. Where a client does want their own entity in India, we say so plainly: that is not a service we offer, and we will point you to counsel who do it properly.

Common questions
Operating in India
Do you form companies in India?
No. In India we run procurement, freight, Employer of Record and work visas. Company formation in India is not part of our offer, and we prefer to say that clearly rather than take the mandate and subcontract it.
China or India for our category?
It follows from your category, your tariff exposure and where the cargo has to land — not from where we happen to have an office, because we have both. For several categories the answer is to run both, and we will tell you when that is the case.
Can you employ a team in India for us?
Yes, through our Employer of Record: compliant appointment letters, PF, ESI, professional tax and the monthly payroll, with no entity of your own required.
