Why Horizon
An operation is only as strong as the weakest link in the chain.
Most international operations are assembled from specialists who each optimise one step. Horizon exists because the value is no longer in the steps — it is in holding them together, across corridors, in both directions, with one counterpart carrying the whole sequence.

Our perspective
International expansion is never a single market. It is a network of markets, corridors and intermediaries.
Suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, corporate agents and immigration specialists each optimise a single step. Margin dissipates between them, and the client absorbs the risk of coordinating the whole. The next phase of value belongs to those who integrate the entire chain, across every corridor. An operation is only as strong as the weakest link in the chain. We hold all of them.
A global network
We do not sell market entry. We operate the corridors that connect markets.
As companies expand, they face a network of trade corridors — each with its own rules, risks and opportunities. Horizon operates across them as one integrated operator, in both directions.
Asia ⇄ Africa
Manufacturing to market
Sourcing, trade and logistics from Asia’s industrial base into the fast-growing markets of Southern Africa — and the African investor into Asia.
Hubs: Beijing · Johannesburg · Luanda · Maputo
Africa ⇄ Europe
The Iberian gateway
Connecting African and lusophone markets to the European Union through Iberia, covering both Portugal and Spain.
Hubs: Lisbon · Johannesburg · Maputo
India ⇄ Africa & the Gulf
The second sourcing base
Sourcing, freight and workforce out of northern India into African and Gulf markets — the alternative to a single-origin supply chain, run from our own office in Noida.
Hubs: Noida · Johannesburg · Luanda · Maputo
Latin America ⇄ Lusophone
Bridging the Atlantic
Brazil connecting the Americas to the Portuguese-speaking world, for procurement, representation and bilateral business.
Hubs: Brazil · Lisbon · Luanda
Integrate the chain across these corridors, in both directions, and you capture the value the market leaves on the table. That is the position Horizon occupies.
How we work
Integration is not a philosophy. It is a method, and it is documented.
Four phases, from diagnosis to established operation — under a single relationship and a single point of contact.
Phase 01
Diagnosis & strategy
Assessment of the market, the entry model and the legal, tax and operational requirements.
Phase 02
Set-up & structuring
Corporate structure, licensing, compliance and operational build-out.
Phase 03
Business development
Representation, prospecting, procurement and mobilisation of the first teams.
Phase 04
Operation & growth
Day-to-day management, logistics, payroll and scaling presence with volume.
How we take work
Four commitments that decide what we will and will not do.
We would rather lose a mandate than take one we cannot run properly. These are the four rules that decide it.
01
Our own people, or we say so
In every market we name, the work is done by Horizon staff. Where a step requires a licensed third party — a notary, a broker, an auditor — we appoint and manage them, and we tell you which arrangement applies rather than presenting one as the other.
02
No undisclosed margin
On procurement you see what the supplier quoted. On every service the basis of our fee is agreed in writing before work starts. The practice of taking a hidden margin on someone else’s price is what makes most sourcing relationships adversarial.
03
We decline what we do not run
We do not form companies in India, and we do not employ in China. Where a specialist would serve you better we say so, and where we take a mandate we take it whole.
04
The current position, not a published figure
Rates, timelines and regulatory positions change and differ by activity. We confirm what applies to your case before you commit, instead of publishing numbers that may be out of date by the time you read them.

The best way to evaluate an integrated chain is to discuss a real case.
Set out the market, the structure or the operation you have in mind. We come back with the entry model, the sequence and the division of responsibility — before any commitment.
